Counting Collections...

Hey, guys! I have to say that Susan and I are soooo excited about our blogging experience!  We are loving this!  Guess what??? We have a new freebie for you!  How many of you do counting collections?  I love them! They are soooo beneficial in the k-2 classroom!  It helps children develop number sense including number sequence, cardinality, and place value.  It helps develop the foundation for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.  I really feel like A LOT of mathematics can come out of these little moments!  :) Some of the Common Core Standards that counting collections covers are: K.CC.1-7, 1.NBT.1, 1.OA.1, 1.OA.5-7, 2.OA.1-2, 2.NBT.1-3, and 2.NBT.6-9.
